What Can You Use PhotoCircle For?

Since it’s cloud-based, it reloads albums automatically, so as soon as someone adds new pictures, they go on everyone’s accounts who have the access. 

 

What Can Improve?

PhotoCircle is a great app with an even better interface. However, some users have complained about the ads. Since advertisements are the main source of revenue for the app, they do tend to appear very often. 

This can be annoying at times. Perhaps, the makers of the app can introduce a paid add-removing feature. 

Another reported flaw is that it doesn’t save metadata of the photo, so they only get sorted by the date they were uploaded to the app. 

 

Is There a Desktop Version?

Sadly, there isn’t a desktop or web version of the app, unlike Google Drive or Dropbox. However, you can access the Android app on PC by using the Bluestacks emulator. 

With Bluestacks, you can download and run virtually any Android app, even on a PC or Mac. So once you’ve installed Bluestacks on your computer, just download Photo Circle for PC (APK file). You can also get it from the Play Store in the emulator, after all, it runs just like an Android device. 

Then you can log in with the same account you use on the mobile for PhotoCircle and access the albums you have created, and others have shared with you. This way, you can also download and save the pictures to your computer. 

 

Final Thoughts

PhotoCircle is a user-friendly photo-sharing app that makes it easy to share pictures privately with your inner circle. You can use it to organize photos into neat albums. Although there’s no desktop version, you can still use it with an Android emulator. 

It does have its shortcomings, but for a free app, it’s great!
